Mum was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in the summer of 2009. She battled the disease with great bravery and dignity until she sadly passed away with her loving family by her side in May 2010. In life mum was kind, loving and would always put others before herself. She was loved by her family and wide circle of friends with whom she enjoyed and embraced a very active life. Our family has created this tribute page as a memorial to a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend who was loved by all that knew her. We will always remember and cherish the moments we shared with mum and will remember a woman with a kind soul. Her courage and bravery serves as an inspiration to us all. We would like to encourage all friends and family to donate to Mums tribute fund. All money goes towards research and raising awareness of Ovarian Cancer. Ovarian Cancer is known the 'silent killer' as many cases are diagnosed too late. Survival rates remain relatively poor and the UK ranks as one of the lowest in the western world. We hope by helping this cause we can assist the charity in helping other women and families in the future. Thanks.
